minecraft mod

hey guys it's Gregar again to tell you of cool stuff in Minecraft. So first thing you probably are wondering is, hey, the ezine class is over, why you write blog? well just cause folks just cause. So today I will tell you about the Zombe Mod Pack. this gives you a bunch of sweet mods like flying in hardcore and survival and different mob sizes. to install, download then go to .minecraft. For mac users go to "your user" then library then application support then minecraft. For windows go to run, type in %appdata% then go to .minecraft. Once you are there, there should be a folder called bin, go in it. Then on the file called minecraft.jar, type .zip on the end of that and keep it as a zip. doubleclick the zip to open then discard it. Now go to zombe pack and unzip it. open classes and drag it into the minecraft folder. then delete a file called META INF or something like that. now go back to the main minecraft folder and make a new folder called mods. make a folder inside that that says Zombe. drag the contents of config into zombe and then youre done. Now this works on every minecraft including cracked ones. To change the settings go to the Zombe folder and open config.txt read everything and change stuff and save it. DONE

It is time...

Well fellow people... It is time to say good bye. It's been a good half year, but all good things must come to an end. But before I go, I'd like to share five things about myself.

1. I am in fact a girl. It may not look(or read like it?) But I am. =3
2. I was raised on video games. Especially Nintendo, Capcom and Sega. I was literally playing video games since I was four years old.
3. I also draw. My best friend DaPurpleNinja draws too, and she's my inspiration to keep on. I draw Sonic characters and anime peoples. =3
4. I do play minecraft. I am very good at it to. I'm the second best in this group (Hardstyle4life is the best). I made a floating castle and a very large mineshaft. =3
5. I have two younger brothers, one of which inspired me to start drawing Sonic characters.

Farewell post. PurpleNinja

This is our final post for Ezine. FOREVER! It was really fun guys. I'm gonna miss it (I don't want to go to Sci-Tech). But I'm not just gonna remissness over the past for my last post. I actually have some good advice for you gamers out there (if anyone is gonna read this). Have you ever heard the theory that if you scrub toothpaste on scratched up video games that they will work (if you haven't, now you know). Well guess what? It works. Very well. I fixed up ALL of my broken games, including ones with HORRIBLE scratches that have been "dead" for years. YEARS! And they work almost like new. Of course they don't work just like new, if they did that'd be a miracle. I just fixed SkyeBlue's games last night, so hopefully they work too. Here the tutorial here. NOTE: It's a 50/50 chance that it will work. DO NOT use on somewhat scratched games. Test it out first on games that are "dead" or that you don't really like, and if it works, move on with the other games. It wouldn't be good to do it on your favorite game. Good luck, and it was a fun semester with you guys!

My goodbye

Here to say my goodbye to LASA and Mega-Tainment although I won't be able to write about hardstyle and dubstep anymore we have some great anime and game articles by my fellow magazine publishers. I will miss being able to design my own way but its my time to go and wish my friends and gregar good luck. As I'm jamming to dubstep and play monster minecraft I have to say good bye to Mega-Tainment and LASA it was great while it lasted but I must go now for my own benefits. It's been a great couple of months and although I got stuck with some creeps that are really odd it was a fun experience getting to write this magazine with them so I can't complain.

Skrillex's 5 Grammy nominations

So it goes from 0 to 5 Grammys that is amazing for an  upcoming Dubstep dj who's progressed so much this year.  The nominations are for The best new artist "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" is up for Best Dance Recording, The album of the same name is up for Best Dance/Electronica Album, best mixed recording for cinema, and best short form music video for equinox. If you hated Skrillex for becoming popular before, well turn the hate dial up because the god of bro-step has just been nominated for a grammy under the category best new artist. Skrillex is in competition with Bon Iver (not new), Nicki Minaj, The Band Perry and J. Cole.  I wonder what label they’re going to slap on Skrillex? Whether they choose techno, electronic, dubstep or whatever else: will play a major role in how mainstream society views his music and stereotypes the rest of the electronic dance music community. He is the first electronic artist to ever get nominated for the award.

Review of Lucky ☆ Star: DaPurpleNinja

Konnichiwa once again everyone! This is our last blog post (unless we have to post one next week, not that I mind of course....). So for that occasion, I decided to do a review of one of my favorite animes, Lucky ☆ Star! (Tell you the truth, I ran out of ideas. It's 10:45 pm, what else am I supposed to do?)

The main 4 characters in Lucky ☆ Star


The series is about a group of four high school girls and their life at school and home. It's not a serious series, no action or anything like that (if you're not interested in laid-back funny anime, I suggest you stop reading now). Most of the time, they're just talking about everyday stuff that teenage girls talk about, but it's really funny. Like, in the first episode, they spend like, 5 minutes talking about how they eat certain foods. Sounds boring (and the first episode isn't necessarily the best), but it's a really good show. They mention a lot of other anime in it, and they even "steal" a couple of scenes from anime. Things get more funny as the series goes on, like their trip to the beach, Summer vacation, Christmas, New years, and other stuff like that.


Characters
Konata: The blue-haired girl. She's a serious otaku (anime fan/ nerd) and a hardcore online and video gamer. She's also a huge procrastinator and always crams on her homework assignments. She's always goofing of in the show, and making jokes about her friends; nine times out of ten, it's about Kagamin. In the show, she's normally seen with her typical closed-eye expression. Konata is my personal favorite in the show.


Kagamin: The purple-haired girl with the pig-tails. She's an honor student, and a part-time gamer. She's constantly on Konata's and Tsukasa's case, usually trying to get them to finish their homework. Kagamin is a typical tsudere (a character that's mean on the outside, but really sweet and caring on the inside), with the sweet side of her showing in the later episodes. 


Tsukasa: The other purpled-hair girl with the yellow bow; Kagamin's twin sister. The second most adorable character in the show. She's better at homework when compared to Konata, only by the fact that she actually tries to do it. Other than that, they're on the same level. (Unless Konata has a good overnight cramming session and passes.) She's a bit of a derp character, known for doing random stuff at times, and failing at everything else. 


Miyuki: The pinked hair girl with glasses. She is super cute! She's really smart, and is always making cute mistakes, like falling down, turning the lights off by accident, or bumping in to stuff. Konata is always teasing her about her smarts and "size" (watch the show to understand the joke. I'm not gonna explain it on the blog, teachers have to read it...). She's a bit of a nerd, and has a rich family (but she's not spoiled, she's very modest). Most of the time in the show, she's giving the other girls information about something. Miyuki is a little dense at times, and is a child at heart.

Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask: Theories of Termina

Caution: SPOILERS!!!

Hey everyone! SkyeBlue here bringing you one of my favorite Zelda games eva! This game takes place in the world of Termina, rather than hyrule. The game starts off with a young Link, maybe a bit older than what he was in Ocarina of Time (OoC) (because this is the sequel... duh) and he's searching for a lost friend in the Lost Woods, which is most likely Navi. Then he was ambushed by the Skull Kid, whom he met in the Lost Woods in OoC. Link was knocked off of his horse, Epona, and Skull Kid also stole his Ocarina of Time (OMG). Link follows Skull Kid and the two fairies that accompany him, the older sister named Tatl and the younger brother named Tael, but Link falls into a dark hole. Once he reached the bottom, he realizes that he was turned into a Deku, and Skull Kid mocks him in that form, but then Skull Kid and Tael leave Tatl behind with Link. Tatl becomes Link's new fairy companion and they both escape the cave, leading into clock town, where they meet the Happy Mask Salesman (from OoC). He claims that Skul Kid has stolen a very evil mask from him, and asks Link to get it back to him in 3 days, and he will get Link out of the deku form. Lin accepts, heads out in the world of Termina and starts a new adventure.

Now here's where the theories start to come in. First off, the theory of how Link got to Termina in the first place. Falling into that dark hole is a big part of the answer. Some people say that it is and alternate universe, while others say that it's a part of the world beyond the Kingdom of Hyrule itself. I believe that Termina is in fact an alternate universe, and not part of the world in which Hyrule belongs to. Then there's the fact of how familiar characters are there in the game. The Happy Mask Salesman did come from Hyrule town (He had a shop there) and Skull Kid came from the Lost Woods (which is by the Kokiri Village). They must have traveled there the same way Link did: they fell in a hole. Now comes the many theories of the origins of Majora's mask. There are rumors that Majora is a girl, but many people say that Majora is a dude. Which one is true? I'm not really sure myself, but I believe that Majora is a girl, because during the final stage of the final boss fight of the game (Majora's Wrath), when Majora gets hit, she sounds like a girl. But that's just my opinion. Another theory about Majora is that she was sealed in the mask, possibly by the Four Giants that created Termina. Also, in the manga version (you can download here) there is a bonus story explaining the creation of the mask. Very complicated really. Well, after explaining all of that, I'm afraid that it's time to go. I'll see you guys next time! Peace!

SUPER PIXEL KNIGHT

hey it's gregar again I am playing this really awesome game on google chrome called super pixel knight. super pixel knight is a really awesome game where you are a knight whose has to save his realm. "It is said, that in times of great peril, a hero will arise to save the lands and restore peace to the kingdom...". That is the intro, then they start you off at the map of the game. The map shows several levels and 3 bosses. One is like a flying centipede which you have to kill its body parts to beat the head (HEAD SHOT! ONE HIT K.O.!) then you have to fight the grim reaper who shoots his scythe at you and makes skeleton enemies appear. The third boss is Megoleth himself. He is some type of demon thing with wings and stuff. So you start out with a map and info on how to play. You have a spell (different from pixel knight, or pixel knight 2).  and a weapon. The spell is based on the weapon. There are various weapons; Orb (stays put until broken or times out, kamikaze man spell), Axe (really fast, arc, rolling invincible ball as spell), Hammer (bounces on ground, shoots lightning bolts as spell), shuriken (my favorite! super fast and has a force field good for one hit), rapier (i call it the raper, has slow shot that is a dagger, spell is a tri-shot forward.), boomerang ( flies back to you, spell goes up and then explodes as a tri shot down), bow and arrow ( one shot forward, one shot diagonal, spell is an exploding arrow that has damage dealing smoke, crossbow ( has 2 shots at once, spell is a tri shot upwards), and falchion ( shot goes through all enemies, spell is a tornado) and the beginning weapon, the dagger (a dagger, spell goes diagonal both ways). so when you got through the levels  you fight different enemies like jumping slime, dragons, bats, floating laser shooting eyeballs, and skeletons. There are multiple potions throughout that give either one or two mana or health. Then before the boss you get two weapon change selections (comes in a treasure chest) and a rejuvenation potion that is extremely rare in the normal levels. Once you beat the game it shows you in a countryside. I would show you the final but I just restarted it after beating it 5 times. Remember always choose shuriken. Rating for Game: 9*/10* because you can't choose which spell you want.
