Many fans are disappointed because Mega Man Legends 3 project for the 3DS was cancelled, and the prototype was never released either. I noticed this when my younger brother was watching reaction videos to the cancellation, and they didn't sound pleasant. Capcom also says that there currently are no plans of restarting the project in the future. On top of that, the company also says, "Additionally, updates of the Mega Man Legends Developer Room will cease as of today, though the North American Developer Room and its forums will remain open indefinitely." This is very unfortunate, and this news have fans question what's going to happen next, since another Megaman title was cancelled earlier in the year: Megaman Universe. Capcom answered this question in a Q&A: " This is the second Mega Man game cancelled this year, what does this mean for the future of the Mega Man Franchise? "And they answered with "Mega Man is still an important franchise within Capcom’s portfolio and we will continue to pursue opportunities to create new titles in the series." So they are not just giving up the whole Megaman franchise, because it's so important to them. This would definitely set the fans at ease. See you next time for a new post. Peace!
