Diamond Hollow II was made with
Flixel a cool new progamming thing made by Adam Atomic, one of the guys I interviewed. You are basically a guy lost in a cave when a gun dropped by the evil professor aids you in escaping and he helps you along the way. The gun was thrown down by the professor because it didn't want to kill a human. You journey with this gun while getting upgrades and new types like rebound shot, missile, 3 shot, and original machine gun. Through the levels you collect diamonds and battle slimes, birds, robots. Once you reach the end of a level, through which checkpoints are available, you fight the boss, which is normally a slime/monster but stronger and with other enemies that can't die. You keep going till you get to the last level. WARNING SPOILER ALERT: You fight the evil professor and once you finish he steals the gun from you and tries to reprogram it and kill you but, the gun doesn't want to kill a human so he uses an escape elevator and you leave. At the end it shows you and the gun says from within the cave, NO I DON:T WANT TO HURT HUMANS, then you desplay a frown emoticon and the game ends.
There are also other games in this game. There is one called Boss Rush that is basically all the bosses one after the other, while you keep all the equipment before stolen by the professor. To unlock this you have to beat the game. Once you start you have choice of Normal, and Heroic (gotten by beating normal). The bosses are stronger and more defensive in this game so watch out. Another game is Escape where you keep going up while fighting the slimes and lava slowly fills below you. You need diamonds to unlock certain checkpoints. Extremely hard, like the reverse of falldown except that you have to kill things in your way. The last two games are mini games. The mini games are Runner Mode and Tadpole Mode. To get these you have to get 15 gems and then 25 gems respectively. In runner mode you go forward without your control and you have to jump and shoot while dodging the holes that you can fall into and grabbing the gems to buy upgrades for your self. In Tadpole Mode you are a blue tadpole going against orange and red ones while collecting gems. this is really like copter, one click defies gravity. Took about ~3-4 hours to get all mentioned here also with a bunch of upgrades. If you have time to play do so, but only do story as it can be completed unlike the other never-ending games. The Link is Here>
?????? though I doubt you will be able to play it at school as AISD likes to be a dementor and suck the fun out of everything (YEAH METAPHOR). That is it I guess. Here is someone playing the TADPOLE game so you can get the gist of it>
